"We arrived at the Opera House Loft in mid July excited to stay in an historic building. The space did not disappoint. We felt that we were perched on top of a small town vibrant with color and visitors. A place where folks still wave at each other and greet with smiles and hugs. The kids especially liked their fortress above the loft where they could play fort away from the adults. The loft is a spacious and open living area, so it was possible to socialize in smaller groups with plenty of area to have a dozen people around a dinner table. The back deck looks out over the south historic district and we had a lot of fun imagining how the scene might have been 150 years ago. We enjoyed the museum directly across the street from the loft where we learned more about the diverse history of Philipsburg.
This was a 5 star stay and we will be making this a regular destination for family get togethers."

"We had a FANTASTIC stay at this unique place! The location was perfect, and we loved being able to go downstairs and watch the shows at the Opera house! The place was more than accommodating for our large group. We didn’t expect AC, but the addition of the window units was a life saver. Our beds were comfortable, overall we enjoyed our visit!"

This is a great place to stay in Philipsburg, MT. Located right downtown and very spacious. The room was extremely clean and had everything we needed to make for a comfortable long weekend stay. I would recommend this spot to others.

This is a great place to stay while fishing Rock Creek, mountain biking at Discovery, and hanging out in P-Burg. Beautiful high ceilings, great kitchen, and awesome back deck on the top floor to lounge, have drinks, and play guitars at the end of the day. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was beyond amazing. Located right in the middle of quaint downtown Philipsburg and also close to so much outdoor recreation. The back deck was such an added enjoyable space! The flat itself is breathtaking and it combines old fashioned charm with all modern conveniences. We were especially grateful for the air conditioning in the middle of the heat wave. The town has many things to do and excellent restaurants. The kids loved the gem store, the bakery and the homemade candy store, while we also liked the antique shops and pubs. You will really enjoy everything about your stay.

Great find we came here for a family reunion, me, hubby and 3 kids as well as my brother and sis in law stayed here it was perfect for all of us, the condo was beautiful and cozy, close to all the restaurants and stores. There is no ac but they did provide 3 ac coolers in living room, which I did not expect so that was great. They gave great directions to check in and where to find the location, my 3 kids loved that they had their own loft. I liked that they had smart tv for us to log in and watch Netflix etc. And board games for the kiddos.

We stayed in the theater loft in June, and were thrilled. This great space contains both the grandiose architecture absent since the Great Depression, but still feels as warm and breathable as to be called "home." The eating bar is so convenient; the large kitchen is always ample. The colored lights on the back porch add ambience to many a lovely night chatting with each other, or even the friendly neighbors. Just around the corner from almost every store and tourist spot in town, this space is a joy to inhabit! The amenities are up-to-date, with a dishwasher, and gas cooking stove; and the entertaining spaces are huge. We enjoyed the formal dining table for a big family meal--almost a nonexistent offering even in today's temporary housing industry! The upstairs loft has three single beds, so my children could each have their own bed, but be able to share an airy space, and visit with each other. Privacy was there as much as we wanted, but then at the bottom of the two-story staircase, we walked right out onto the street. only yards away from the main street of the town, and next-door to the theater itself, which runs live shows eight weeks in the summer, and even at Christmastime! What an absolute joy!
